Since 2012, FORBES’ 30 Under 30 list has recognized the brightest entrepreneurs, innovators and game-changers under the age of 30 who are transforming business as usual and changing the world.

First, we consider submissions from this online nomination form, as well as consult industry leaders and experts. We also follow the news and keep a close eye on the latest up-and-comers. It’s a year-round process to put together a comprehensive list of contenders for 10 separate categories:

ANALYZE & JUDGE
We evaluate each candidate by a set of key quantifiable metrics, such as funding, revenue and number of people impacted, as well as “winning” qualities such as inventiveness, social benefits and promise. Each category has its own set of expert judges who review and help determine the final winners.

What happens after I submit the form?
You will not receive a confirmation email. But you can rest assured that your nomination has been jetted over to the appropriate reporter that will review the application. If they like your nomination, they'll reach out to their sources and your nominee for more information. When they whittle down to their shortlist, they'll hand off the info for our A-list panel of judges for the final selection
What’s the age cut off?
To be eligible for the 2019 Under 30 List, a nominee must be 29 or younger on December 31, 2019 (Born in 1990 or later).
Required documentation to be submitted with the nomination form
- Letter of recommendation:
- Must include substantiated detailed information on the candidate's activities, specific achievements and contributions in the selected category.
- Should be issued by a company leader, investor, industry expert who is directly in touch with the candidate's accomplishments.
- Full contact information of the recommender.
- No application will be accepted without a letter of recommendation.
- Proof of birth date (ID card or passport scan)
- No application will be accepted without presenting birth ID card or passport
Which countries and regions are eligible?
Candidate has to be nominated for the region in which they are the most prominent. This could be based on region of incorporation, majority of sales, residence, etc. In our case this is Georgia. Citizenship is not a requirement.
What are you looking for in a nomination?
Our journalists and editors take a holistic approach in evaluating nominees. There is no metric (funding, revenue, partnerships, impact etc) that is a silver bullet for getting on the list. Do your best to include all of the most impressive attributes that put the candidate's best foot forward.

There are 10 categories: Art, Culture & Style, Technology, Finance, Science & Healthcare, Entertainment, Manufacturing & Industry, Marketing & Media, Retail & E Commerce, Entrepreneurs, Sports.

What if I'm not sure what category to pick?
Most nominees could fall under a number of categories. Try to identify which industry your nominee is most prominently impacting. Don't worry if you choose wrong. Forbes editors review nominations and will make the final call.
What if a company or organization has more than one founder?
You and your co-founders/business partners can be jointly named to Forbes Under 30. When nominating, be sure to include all names of your cofounders or partners who are under 30 years old. If you don't, we may not consider them. Note, if they've aged out, they won't be eligible, but you still are.
What if I don't know all the information to complete the form?
Fill out the form to the best of your ability. Your nomination will get their foot in the door so make sure the information is accurate and highlights why they should be on the list. If we like your nominee, our editors will do their own research into the candidate to confirm all information and will be in touch with you if they require more from the information.
What is the deadline for submissions?
Nominations will close November 30, 2019.
Who owns the nominations?
Once you click submit, the nomination becomes the property of FORBES. We may choose to use the contents of your nomination for the purpose of advertising, marketing, promotion and publicizing the 30 Under 30 list. Some numbers will remain internal if specified on the form.FILL APPLICATION
